From Jazz to Fusion to Pop/Rock and even Electronica, I don’t think there’s been a band in our podcast history that has jumped the tracks more times musically than Level 42. Have we found Hammond’s achilles heel? Find out in this episode!

Wow, interesting artist to pick. I started with the “A Physical Presence” live album because this was early in the CD era when there wasn’t that much popular music on CD, and you could get interesting imports from the UK at Tower Records. “APP” was desirable because it was one of those double-albums released as one CD (by deleting two songs), and getting more for your money was a big selling point back then. I guess that’s always kept me locked onto the fusion era with Level 42; I got “World Machine” a few years later, but always preferred the earlier stuff like “Living It Up (The Sun Goes Down)”, “Kansas City Milkman”, and even “Foundation and Empire”
